Based on the north bank of The River Thames, Hampton Court Paddlesports offers paddlers the chance to launch from a private pontoon, with faster access to scenic river routes and calmer waters.
Paddleboarding is a unique, fun and healthy way to explore undiscovered urban environments. Promoting good health and well-being, SUP hire allows paddlers to feel balanced, relaxed and calm while working every muscle in the body.
Paddleboards are surprisingly easy to stand on because of their thickness and are perfect for beginners, who find it easy to take to the sport.
Our tours are designed to be fun; we allow for swimming time and having fun in the water on our trips. So, whether you want to paddle sitting down, kneeling or standing, we’re happy to take things at your pace.

DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE?
No, previous experience is required – we will always give a brief on-land introduction to river safety and handling the SUP, no matter the experience level of our visitors.
Stand-up paddleboarding is an excellent activity for all ages and even fitness levels. Our job as local SUP guides is to show you the basics so you can feel at ease and confident in your skills in the river.
SUP OR KAYAK?
If there’s one thing we know, paddleboarding allows you to escape the buzz of everyday life.
Our prime location near Hampton Court means we are away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to escape to, which makes it the perfect location to spend an afternoon or day.
SUP and kayaking are great for finding remote spots and exploring captivating parts of the Thames you would not necessarily have seen before. You can even hire a SUP and a kayak if your friend prefers something more stable.
