Take off from our private pontoon, far enough away for a well-deserved escape but close enough to walk from the car park (Hurst Park – free).

Kits such as a leash, paddle, and buoyancy aid are included in the cost. We also provide dry bags and waterproof phone cases to ensure your belongings remain water-free and dry during your trip.
Our instructors and friendly team have a true passion for paddling and can’t wait to share their knowledge and expertise with you during a 10-15 minute introduction before launch or a 1-1 or group lesson.

- The nearest parking is Hurst Car Park (a 15-minute walk away).
- In a 30-minute distance to most areas in Surrey like Guildford, Woking, Walton and Egham.
- The nearest train is Hampton Court.
The Thames:
Winding through Surrey and into London past Kingston. Choose to paddle up from Kingston to Hampton Court, take in the palace, and browse various riverside refreshments and views. While it may be a lively stretch of the river, it does offer multiple parks lined with banks.
River Mile:
From Dorking to Hampton Court is a lovely stretch of river that is not paddled on often as this particular stretch is advised for experienced paddlers looking for a mini-adventure. In this instance, trees are likely to be found across the river, but the benefits of very few people, kingfishers, and history dating back to the Saxon times make for an enjoyable paddle.
Safety advice and mini-river guide
Any paddler taking to the Thames can turn to the ultimate safety bible called the "Paddling Code" (Paddling on the Tideway- A Code of Practice for Paddling on the Tidal Thames) the PLA, British Canoeing produced, and the several Thames based paddling organisations.
"The Code is set to be a precious resource for paddlers, which will improve their safety and the safety of others on the river and help make padding a more enjoyable experience."
